Angela Thompson Exhibition

An Exhibition by Angela Thompson. Opening Night Friday 12th October 7-9pm.

Angela Thompson was born in Birmingham and educated at the Moseley School of Art, and London University, Trent Park, where she qualified as a teacher. She then went on to teach Art & Design in secondary schools across London for twenty five years.

Artist Angela Thompson was a trustee of the Whitechapel Gallery for three years before moving to Spain in 2001 to concentrate and develop her own work. After fifteen exciting and rewarding years working on commissions, exhibitions and interior design projects she returned to East London and settled in Leytonstone.

Angela gets her inspiration from landscape and natural forms working in oil on large canvases.

“I attempt to capture the suggestions of form rather than stating the obvious, building imagery through layers of colour and texture in a quest for harmony and balance.” —Angela Thompson

Angela’s work will be on display for over a month at Le Petit Corner from Friday 12 October 2018. Join us on the opening night from 7pm to 9pm to “eat, drink and appreciate art.”
